Gain More Traffic: Useful Sites For Web Design Tutorial Submission
It can often be inconvenient and time consuming to visit each design or tutorial blog to check out whether there's a new tutorial you're interested in. Moreover if you're a beginner you just want to find high-quality tutorials quickly and preferably in one place. Sites like this exist, but I bet most of you haven't seen anything other than Photoshop Lady. I'm not a big fan of these large search engines, though they can be really useful and handy, and not only for visitors and readers. Having your tutorial published on various sites will generate a lot of traffic and publicity for you. It's a win-win situation – more people will be able to learn from your tutorial and you will get more visitors to your blog.

Details in Design – How Much Difference Do They Really Make?
I recently read an article on SixRevisions called Details Make the Difference in Web Design by Jason Gross. I thought it was a great article for the most part, but that it left out a few things and didn't touch on the importance of making sure a design detail is actually needed. So I thought I'd expand on it a bit. I'm looking for feedback here for sure. I'm also not claiming that I have this down personally, we all need to work on some area or another. Be sure to leave your thoughts below!

Presentation Tools: Keynote vs. PowerPoint
When we need to make a presentation, we often think about using Microsoft Powerpoint. Whether it's presentations for school, work, home or party, Microsoft Powerpoint seems to be the only choice. But Powerpoint's got a whole lot of competition: Google Presentation, Impress, Symphony, and its strongest rival, Keynote. Some of you may have heard of Keynote, the Apple version equivalent of Powerpoint. Loyal Mac users have raved about it. It's not as popular as Powerpoint, but has received rave reviews from many critics and designers. Which is better when it comes to performance--Microsoft's Powerpoint or Apple's Keynote? Let's take it one aspect at a time.
Essential Factors to Consider When Designing a Website
Appearance is the first thing that makes an impression. The first thing we notice when we come across anything is the ambiance that is why the design of a web page is so important. From the beginning, web design trends have evolved and followed changes in technology and consumerism. We now talk about 'mature' technology. The technology of the late 90’s is history now.
Create Your Dream Workstation: Popular Computers And Gadgets For Designers (PC/Mac)
I spent several hours scouring the internet for designers' workplaces and their specifications. Now, this will seem biased towards Apple products since almost everything I have seen on Flickr, Dribble, and other communities for designers indeed favor Apple products. But don't worry here you'll see all the most popular alternatives and everything else you need to build your dream workspace! From what I have noticed the number of displays needed for a designer is always one more. You have two? Add another one. A good combination I have seen is a laptop and a cinematic display from 24” to 27”. Wireless mouse and keyboards are also favored.
Things to Know if You Plan on Working Abroad
Searching for a job abroad is becoming more common every year. Many people go past the border of their own country to look for a life elsewhere. The reasons vary, it may be because of better financial prospects, it may be because of a better environment. Whichever the case - been there, done that. So if you are thinking about packing your bags and getting on a plane, you might want to consider what you can expect, so you're ready and prepared, when the time comes to board that plane. As mentioned, I actually did go through a couple of countries in recent years and worked at various companies while doing it. I've learned a number of things while doing it, and hopefully some of the things I've learned will help you. Of course I'm presuming you are looking for a job somehow related to design/coding etc., not construction or such.
