Thanks for this useful posting. I really enjoyed reading it very much. There are so many different types of text effects which can be done for web sites. All the types of text effects look good on the web page. After reading this posting, I am excited about text effects. I think the text effects on Groupon and its clone sites are good. I think they could have been done with the help of scripts.

I need to know about CSS Text Gradients, do you think that it is really necessary, I believe several types of font format are not comfortable and easily recognise if combining with gradient looks like color. Just let me know your opinion.
