Nowadays, almost everyone is actively using Facebook in promoting products or services with the use of Facebook fan pages. Even bloggers are now creating their fan pages for more exposure and gather more traffic. The good thing about Facebook is you can set up your RSS feed there, so new articles posted will automatically appear on your fan page. What else can you get in creating a fan page for your blog? Having a Fan Page looks appealing to readers. It builds a good relationship between you and your readers. This makes them feel that you are not only into posting articles, but you are after on what your readers think about what you post. It also gives more exposure to your blogs, and of course, more traffic. Let me give you the advantages of creating a page of your blog with these three functionalities Facebook has.
Your friends can give their comments or opinions on the using Facebook. You will know their feedbacks regarding an article and it will also be shown on their wall that they commented on your link. There is also a chance that this recent activity will be posted on the News Feeds of people.
The great thing about Facebook is that it has a Like and Share button. If they appreciate the article, they will rate it by clicking “Like”. The same goes with the Share button. Share will publish the link to your friend’s profile, linking directly to yours.
Anything that you post on your wall will be seen by your Facebook friends on their News Feeds. If your friends share an article, it will also be published on their News Feeds.
Step 2: Select Brand, product or organization. Choose Website on the drop down menu. Then, type in the Page name of your blog.
Don’t forget to check the Check box, and then click Create Official Page.
Step 3: Add the logo of your blog, provide basic information.
Now, let us go to the step where you will setup your page to automatically import your blog posts to your fan page.
Step 4: Click the + and choose Notes.
Step 5: Go to Notes tab and click Edit import settings.
Step 6: Import your external blog. Type in the website or RSS feed address of your blog on the text box, then click Start Importing.
After that, you will see a preview of your blog. Then, click Confirm Import. And, that’s it! You have now imported your blog on your page.
All you need to do now is to add more information about your blog.
Step 7: Go to Info tab and click Edit Information. Then, add more information about your blog.
Congratulations! You have now successfully created a page for your blog. Tell your friends about it and let them like your fan page.
