I was also misled by the title when I saw it in my feeds. I was also misled by the title when I saw it in my feeds. I already subscribe to every single one of these blogs (including yours), so the implication of “promising”, which leads one to think there may be some new or unknown blogs included, is unfortunately a disappointment. Still, it’s a great list for those that have never heard of any of these blogs, but most of them are pretty well-known.

When I read the heading of the post on Twitter, I thought this post will include the new blogs that are relatively small but deliver great content and have a promising future. But when I saw Noupe, Smashing Magazine and finally A List Apart among other blogs I realized that I got it wrong. May be the title is misleading?
It’s a great post, but I thought I could tell you how I thought.

Sorry, there are several not so well known blogs, but this list mainly features popular blogs, who have proven their quality already as well as blogs , who are approx one year old – but with really great content.

This is really true. Sometimes you are just looking at the monitor screen doing nothing and do not know what to start with.
