A great list so far.
Themeforest does really have the best admin templates around, though with a few of them I am concerned that features are crammed in without enough attention paid to user experience. I make sure to focus on experience first, and the additional widgets are easy enough to add later.

Always amazed seeing these admin templates on ThemeForest but keep wondering how to integrate them with an admin panel say that of OpenCart? Find the default admin sections of these not too aesthetic and would be great if something of this sort can be plugged in. Did not find any tutorials also in this direction. Any help about this would be much appreciated.

Is it just for the looking or do they have any app that helps you managing the websites?

Admin templates are generally extensions of how you can manage your website behind the scenes, usually for a specific purpose. Let’s just say that these templates go out of their way to add extra functionality to the standard WP admin. Some are used for accounting, others for graphing data, you name it. It’s basically a custom admin panel for WP.
