Total Followers 132,503
Twitter background design is one of the most important things, you can change in your account to attract new followers. We only can change little things in Twitter so why we don’t put there the best we can? Let’s change our background right now, but before we do that – time for you to get inspired!
I hand picked those 50 Twitter backgrounds, while I was browsing through like 200-300 twitter pages – these all were the ones which caught my attention. Interesting to notice, not all of favorites are really colorful, but even subtle, clean and elegant but still stood out. In my opinion the best case is to create what suits you in the meantime thinking about usability and readability – but light designs with few colors included to make design shine seems to be the best case! What’s your case?

It took me a while to lay out my background. The center aligned content with left aligned background makes the design a bit more challenging IMHO. I decided to design mine for 1024×768 & 1680×1050. My solution was to have some info hidden by the content until it reached a certain size.
How did everyone else attack this problem?

These are great backgrounds… I was searching a few days ago for some Twitter background inspiration, and all I could find was post after post of the same backgrounds, just rearranged or retitled. These are some unique ones I haven’t seen posted elsewhere, and that is exactly what I was looking for.

Ah, I think it’s dependent from screen resolution, there was some kind of algorithm, how to calculate and create background for the most used resolution, but yeah for sure you can make just left top/center side, others are really scalable.. thanks for your comment :)
