Hey Ryan,
As an ebook writer myself, I fully understand the benefits of writing ebooks. It was the benefits alone that got me started.
But getting started is the real hold up for people. We all have great ideas and love the idea of creating an ebook, but actually doing it can be another story. There’s actually a fair amount of discipline involved to getting it done.
It starts with a sound commitment, then you need a plan of how to get it done. The biggest excuse people have is no time. Don’t let time be what holds you back. Do you have 30 minutes a day you can devote to the project? That’s really all it takes. If you make a plan and a task list for what needs to be done, then format an outline and devote just 30 minutes a day to doing ‘something’ towards your plan, you ca do it.
In a month’s time you’ll be amazed at how far you’ve come. But it all starts with taking action.

I see a lot of people writing ebooks more and more often. But it’s usually about promoting something. I rarely see ebooks about stories for kids. Do you have any idea why ?

Haha, good question, well check Amazon and you’ll see a lot of fiction for kids too. In this niche, of course stories for kids might not be the most sustainable business.
