Hello, my design friends and loyal readers!

I bet you’ve noticed little silence here and how articles don’t come out as often then they should, but I have really strong reason for it. For 2 weeks now, I have session and examinations in academy, so of course my daily work-flow is really messed up – I am working almost until morning, then sleep through days, wait for teachers, try to print everything out in time and so on. Very intense – since I left most of my exercises for last night.

All right, but on this Friday finally I finished everything and I am coming back even more seriously now!

Guest writers

I got many proposals for latest time through e-mails, I must apologize – I haven’t responded yet to many e-mails, but I will do now. Just don’t overreact – I really appreciate You contacting me and wishing to contribute, just I couldn’t get all works done in time, but don’t worry – I will write everybody back and hopefully 1stwebdesigner website will get several great new authors here!

And one more time – if you are designer, who would like to give some tips, educate and get involved – get in touch with me and we will discuss details.

Little peek in future

Yes, I worked all this time from my home sitting near my bed – I think it really distracts and don’t create right atmosphere. Things are changing and I will work in office from now on and even hiring more people and writers to help grow 1stwebdesigner even bigger. For me it’s something really big and new, we will see how this will work out in future!

I’ll keep focusing on webdesign topics, creating more tutorials and informing about new things happening in Internet world and blogosphere. Huge work has been done, but I think even bigger work will be in future, a lot of topics and article themes should be improved and I am working hard to do that!

Be patient, sit back in your chair and keep enjoying 1stwebdesigner articles, resources and tutorials! We will not disappoint you and with new writers contribution site will be getting a lot better for sure! Thank you, loyal readers and guest writers!!

IconSchock Great Cartoon

A while ago, I pronounced our collaboration with Iconshock company. They also offered to me create cartoon from real photo with me – I was very excited about their idea and gladly agreed. Artist is really talented and outcome looks amazing! Yep, that’s me – with Latvian flag behind me, big smile and always patriotic about this website as you can see on my T-Shirt..:) I should create one like that though! Thank you, Iconshocks and our collaboration continues, I received free icon set from them already and I will release it shortly!
