I believe that a logo when properly designed, conveys that you are credible, trustworthy and professional. Personally, I tried designing my own logo but it represents none of the qualities that I seek for hence the need for professional help.
As for my site, it’s a fresh startup by me to cover online media and technology related articles but the downside would be the number of blogs doing the same thing too. A logo, would most definitely help me stand out from the masses and hopefully interest people to check my site out.

You get what you pay for. $200 for a brand!? That’s insulting. I spent that with a plumber at my house who was there for an hour.
I value the success of my company higher than $200 and therefore I’d rather go somewhere that I can get an original design by skilled, experienced designers who take the time to understand my company and its objectives. But good luck to the winner.

I’m a student studying webdesign, and I’m currently working on my big finishing project at my school. For my project I am designing a website that I have big plans for, with an estimated launch in september this year. I am working alone on this, and my skills with graphics are not as great as my programming skills. A professional logo would be a dream come true, and would deffinately be a lot better than anything I could whip up in photosop myself.

I am a poor college student getting ready to graduate and enter into the world of freelance web design. I want to do all this while also serving as a missionary or youth pastor at a church. Having an own logo is one of my heaviest desires regarding my work. So I tried a couple of times to do it on my one. The produces frittered away a lot of my time. They weren’t worth the trouble.
To get one as a gift would be better than doodling and searching for resources every day.

We are in the process of building our ecom site from an eBay only to an ecom site with eBay as one of our marketplaces. In doing so, we need a logo to continue to develop our brand awareness. We have a twitter account as well as a facebook page and as we continue to move to a straight ecom site, we need a cool, kick ass logo. Note that we have a “placeholder” now.
A logo has been on my list of things to do for a very long. I understand how crucial it is for my company in terms of brand recognition. The time hasn’t yet been found to take that step. Hopefully I can win!
