I believe that a logo when properly designed, conveys that you are credible, trustworthy and professional. Personally, I tried designing my own logo but it represents none of the qualities that I seek for hence the need for professional help. As for my site, it's a fresh startup by me to cover online media and technology related articles but the downside would be the number of blogs doing the same thing too. I come from Italy and unfortunately a little bit because of Berlusconi and some because of the Mafia (usually the two coincide) our mind is closed and we have no capacity and services as the rest of the world. I would like to get this price. A professional logo of that value would be great to enhance the look and feeling of my website. My current solution (a heading written in a custom font) looks nice, but there is way more to archive.

I value the success of my company higher than $200 and therefore I’d rather go somewhere that I can get an original design by skilled, experienced designers who take the time to understand my company and its objectives. But good luck to the winner.
