Some time ago I created article – 52 Really High Quality Free Fonts For Modern And Cool Design, which turned out to be very popular. But I felt like I haven’t featured even a half of beautiful, professional free fonts, so I decided to continue with another article. This time I found 65 high quality fonts, where many of them are very good for font creation, creative graphic typographic works, unique web design titles and so on. But hey – we are here all becoming/experienced designers, I don’t need to tell you where to use those fonts, I am here to find that stuff for you!
Note – before using these fonts for commercial projects, check out creator copyrights (on their homepages, not asking me – I am just collector), because all of these fonts are free for personal use, but not all for commercial usage.

4 font variations here in separate download files.
Tallys is a font that is one degree slanted and has large caps, a small x-height and long ascenders. It comes (see also Fontin) with hybrid numbers and a complete character set.
Confection is an adorable typeface inspired by copperplate scripts but is non-connecting. It’s frosted with swirling peaks of whipped cream and whimsical stems of pulled taffy. The opentype version is caramel filled with delicious ligatures and alternates.
Eats holes for breakfast lunch and dinner. Inspired by filling in sans-serif newspaper headlines. Continually updated with coffee and music. Makes your work louder than the next person’s.
Included in the set are Regular,Italic,Bold,Bold Italic for optical sizes 72, 12 and 6. Size 72 also includes italic swash characters and Black weights.
Designed as a bitmap font using Fontlab’s Bitfonter and then converted to an outline font. Synthetique has been optimized for on screen display at 17 pts. When your using this font at 17 pts be sure that anti-aliasing (smoothing) is turned off in your graphics program. Otherwise, author recommends using this font at 24 pts or above with font smoothing on. It looks great printed at any size.
This font won the Best Overall Font 2008 award.

Where can I find a font that gives me some of those sweeping line underlines that tail off of the serif of the last letter in the word?
Thursday, July 14th, 2011 08:00
That grainy effect is because the internet does not have the anti-aliasing that photoshop and programs like that have. If you want that effect to be gone, either take it out of the mix by making an image with that text or make it less noticeable by simply making the font size smaller.

I haven’t created a font in while. This makes me want to get back at it, but if I persist in being lazy boy do I have a lot to choose from here.
