Nice to see my site being listed here even though it hasn’t been updated for a while (well, over a year that’s for sure and site design is already outdated, etc). I’m working on the major update for the site, so hopefully it’ll be even more useful design source for everyone. Once again, thanks, it’s an honour!

Very cool list thanks.
@Bojan The internet is full of alot of BS’ers with that said do you really get 90% of your work from galleries? Realistically what is this figure roughly…I mean are we talking 1 every 6 month or what? I ask because I guess I too am like ‘Jason’ this can easily be seen in crap house sites like SitePoints 99designs! On that site there are honestly 4-5 designers who actually do work that is professional. The majority are just scam artists!
Sunday, April 12th, 2009 03:29
Nice collection Dainis. I noticed that it’s not the first time my web site is put among logo galleries that i frequently visit :) The fact that i really put almost every one of my logos there probably helps :)
@Jason – that’s the trade off – 90% of my clients are commming from galleries mentioned. On the other hand, in today’s flow of information i learned that ripoff artist hardly can survive for few days. The designer community is getting stronger, so you cannot hide when you steal. Everything that end up online, eventually will be brought to light.
p.s. Dainis, can you please revise the title above my site to say “Logoholik” instead of “Logoholic”. Cheers!

I’m not sure why sites like these exist. When we create something, we certainly like to show it off, I understand that. However, to me, posting your logo is just inviting the extreme form of flattery known as being ripped off. We may believe that it’s going to bring more work, but let’s be honest, the only people that look at logo galleries are logo designers, not people who need logos.

A good compilation of logos and some of them are really very attractive and inspirational. I have copied some of the logos, including No. 20 LogoMoose, to stretch their ideas as a token of experiment.
The designing of logo may be a matter of seconds for art designer or it may take months. Anyhow, the logo indirectly represents the theme of a firm. The selection of color scheme and its embellishment with graphics and visuals is the core point of logo designing. For any logo, cartoon characters may be used but not the picture of any person. A logo is meant for an immediate recognition.

Behind every memorable brand, there is an unforgettable logo design. The foundation of a logo design revolves around three essential pillars …font, color and symbol.

Some of all-time best logos from over all the world have been brought together here. The logo designing may be cartoonish, graphical, visual or wordy with a little bit embellishment of illustratory work. For an amateur art designer, these logos are exemplary.
A logo represents the whole manifesto and background of company. The logo should always be unique and free of ambiguity.
