Oh again, thank You for such kind words – and again this is not love parade, I just wanted to show new trends and their best examples I could find.

My favorite are typographic logos too :)

I love the typography logos. Some of my more favorite ones include “talkmore”, “twins”, and “upside down”. So, creative. Thanks for the inspiring list of logos. Already delicioused.

Way too much information and stuff on this logos. They’re more like emblems than logos for the most part.

Ask someone who barely know them to reproduce or even remember what the logo looks like, and most of them will fail to do so.

If people cannot remember your logo, it’s not worth it. “Keep it simple, stupid.”

Nice post, more interesting than the other logo design trends 2009.

I made the ‘kite string studio’ logo under ‘origami’, its always nice to stumble upon your own work :)

What I see here is a really positive step for logo design. Away from the so called web2.0 style and into something a lot more creative and organic

Basically the trends for logos in 2009 are going to be exactly the same as they have been for the last 200 years.

Even so, there are some seriously fresh looking designs there.

‘Typographic Logos’ are ‘Logotypes’. They have been a graphic standard for eons now. Not really something you’d label a ‘trend’.

Hi, I like this collection but there are many logos here that are only good as ideas and totaly unusable…

I apreciate the time you spent finding them but I don’t realy agree these are the trends … none of these logos are owned by a big company, many of them will surely look awful in two colors (B/W) nor are scalable ….. …..

I especialy hate PageFold and FoldIt … Great idea … ultra unusable …. …. I would really like to see a seal made out of these logost and use it on serious documents.

About designing, are we designers so out of work that we keep searching for trends where there aren’t any? Then follow them blindly or what?

I personally design logos that can be used az for B/W print, seals, web sites, and color print. I don’t really care for trends because trends grow old.

I personaly design logos that will be used more than one year. You may wonder why my site is just one picture … well the soemaker goes without shoes, I don’t have the time to design my own site.

Again thaks for the collection it reminded me again how blind is the design community today.

@JOHNG actually, I totally agree to You, I am just more excited about logo I see, when I discover some clever, hidden idea behind it, than just some various, cute logo.

@logo design guru – actually here is not so much about logo quality, more about logo design trends and I tried to select just most appropriate logos to these categories, so You can see and understand future advance..

Yeah some nice logos there. Personally I’m pretty terrible at logo design, especially when it comes to website design. Even if I create a half-decent logo I find it difficult to incorporate into the actual design most of the time.

Still a great reference, will help me immensely.

‘Typographic Logos’ are ‘Logotypes’. They have been a graphic standard for eons now. Not really something you’d label a ‘trend’.

Basically the trends for logos in 2009 are going to be exactly the same as they have been for the last 200 years.

Even so, there are some seriously fresh looking designs there.
