An effective business card is a great way to impress your clients. While there are many courses in Designing Business Cards, minimalism a hot trend in brand designing as well as in overall Design community because of its effectiveness and simplistic approach.
So today I have come up with really beautiful and creative minimal business cards which will make you say wow.
As we all know this popular blog – no surprise they are creating their business card in minimalism and using light, beautiful typography.
In business cards widely used are letterpress and embossed effect, simple texture also here really make card unique.
Beautiful simplicity – both sides are exactly opposite each other – black/white, but green line just connects both sides and makes them familiar and related.
Simple, but technically very well spaced business card. Notice how nothing is near the edges, all information is kept in center, image to the left – text to the right in way where is very easy to read it.
Really black cards with bold, white text just cannot look bad – interesting texture in background just make card more unique.
Simple business card – but with embossed wooden texture really stand out.
Beautiful typography is this case is really enough for great branding.

From business card you can tell right away with which profession it’s owner is working in without even reading text. Smart.
Did you notice different card size?
One more photographer business card – again standing out with great photo related associations.
Catchy – card sides are painted orange, little things matter!
Interesting light gradient effects added create professional look with ease.
Nice, big rounded corners grab attention – unique presentation as well.
Letterpress effects are really popular trend lately – but there is a reason for it – great look.
O2 letters have got here all the main attention with sketched like look, very minimal business card with main focus on great typography.

Unique approach – card related with email – measurethrice[at]gmail.com. Interesting.

We love number 32. Using colored edges on your card shows your customer you pay attention to detail.

Immediate impression: too many colors, too many fonts/typefaces. Social networking sites icons unnecessary. They should find it when they go to your site. Can be simplified so, so much more. Just go through these samples and think of a redesign. I’ll be interested to see what you come up with.

Some lovely examples of design and of typography, thank you so much for sharing them.
I wonder how legible some of them are at life-size… and how they play with clients.

The Mayes Design name card is really creative. I also love “Anatas”, the latin font gives personal hand writing impression.
