Portable apps provide great flexibility and security for working people. Many times for using files we need to install whole program and it become inconvenient. Portable applications are proving great nowadays. They are flexible and do not require any installation. Thanks for this great article. I have large collection of this software.

I am commenting to ask what is the name of the plugin you use for your “about author” blurb under your related posts? I have done a similar thing on my blog but I did it by editing my single.php file. Please email me with the plugin name if you can. If not I’ll be back to check out more of your articles. Thanks

Thanks to Srikanth for such a wonderful collection of portable applications and thanks to Dainis for sharing this with us :). You guys rock !!
I use the second and the VlC player applications frequently, then some others like open office and notepad++ I’ve used earlier. Wasn’t even knowing about some of them ;-) lol

Most pro’s use PS. Mt husband does,also. I just dabble with stuff.Another program that is useful is Faststone.
