If You have been following to latest articles, I compiled 43 PSD to XHTML, CSS Tutorials article some time ago. This should be considered as next step to web development process. There are a lot of really professional and high quality XHTML, CSS templates available for free – if You are familiar with coding, You can learn many new techniques just by studying code. Those templates are free for charge, however don’t forget to check license from each one of them before using. Why to choose premium templates at all?
I had the same question some time ago, but not always the free stuff is the best – the same is about wordpress themes. If you’re getting templates for free you don’t have any support and not any good customization options. However if you choose to sacrifice like 30-50$, you’ll get:
- Photoshop Source Files (PSD) – the most important part, because with source files, you can easily change whole looking and not touching the code at all sometimes!;
- HTML Files;
- CSS Files;
- Fonts (if applicable);
- For some layout sites there is support available too;
