Really good post.
It is so handy to have a look at a few of these tools when picking colours. The little details make a big difference.

Wow, thank you for this very complete list ! I'm a big ColourLovers fan, for the community aspect and for their wonderful tool COPASO that lets you extract colours from pictures. Still after reading your post I think I'd like to find something as good but with a white background, to be able to switch between the two, so as to keep a fresh look on what I'm doing.
