Create Logotypes Using Just Type And Different Variations
You can create successful logotype just using letters and type adding just little accent. Creating logotype just search over different fonts, avoid using two or more fonts in logotype - most of the cases, different typefaces do bad more than something good. Every font has it's own personality, keep it simple, avoid using fun fonts, because they will add a little bit shallow feel in most of the cases. There are great free font services, where You can choose between thousands of free fonts, and test them online simply typing desired word and browsing over different categories.
Logo creation process – inspirational sketching
I believe that every design process, no matter what that is - logo design, web design, printing works or just ideas must be written or sketched on paper at first and only after that really start designing. It really helps to put fast your ideas on paper for later use - improving the same ideas. And there is one more good thing about sketching - I suggest You create one notebook just where You can put your ideas, fast sketches and later when You will need just to fast find some inspiration - just open your notebook and You should find at least one good idea to Your next project!
