There are very big variety how you can use and implement patterns, but the fact is – free resources – like patterns, brushes, shapes are big time savers. Of course it’s better to create your own stuff, but sometimes you receive project with fast deadline and you need everything to do fast and this is one of the solutions.

This list just features 22 resource sites and several very well written articles with premade pattern collections, it was very interesting for me to write this article, I am hoping it will be interesting reading and useful resource for bookmarking.

Once you have discovered that particular special fractal style you like to create you soon find that most of the creation of that fractal is repetitive. This is a good place to write a script. Once you have determined what is always the same about each fractal of that style you can then start writing instructions in a script to do all that for you. With the use of variables (changeable values within the script) you can start adding randomness to your script that will allow for different results each time you run the script.

Words – “Auto Generating” don’t mean that that it takes the pictures for you. This gallery won’t even create the thumbnails for you. What it DOES, is build itself dynamically from your directory of images. So when you want to add new photos, you simply drop the new photo and thumbnail in the directory and you are done! HTML Dog has been dishing out healthy code treats since 2003, and currently serves up around 1,500,000 page views a month. The idea is to take the somewhat convoluted official specs for XHTML and CSS and present them in a much more readable fashion.

Very useful HTML and CSS tutorial place, teaching You everything step by step – best practices, standards and code with “easy to understand” example. Give it a shot, You won’t regret it! I am only sorry about that, I didn’t knew about this place at the first time, when I tried to learn how to do simple coding. My favorite.

W3Schools is the largest web developers site on the Internet. This was the first place where I started to learn basics. Personally I think those tutorials are a bit outdated, but W3C is founding place where just everything started.
