Step three is not working correctly. I followed each step carefully and it is not coming out the same. Instead, there is a black design within the white letters. It seems that if I raise the smoothness on the stamp effect it gets closer to looking like yours, but not exact.

STEP 3 isnt working…omg halp! When i go into filter -sketch is blanked out.

I really like the effect. And thankfully that there is a tutorial of this effect.
I did every step you explained. But it already goes wrong with the funny part at point 3. I did exactly what you discribed. I think that it goes wrong with step 2. You see on the image of step 2 (layer style > bevel and emboss > gloss contour menu. So we know which one to pick. But because of the gloss contour menu, we can´t see the highlight mode and shadow mode option. My highlight mode is on screen and my shadow mode is on multiply. I think that is wrong. I don´t know what else it could be. I hope you can tell me if my highlight mode and shadowmode is wrong or correct and what it suppose to be. Thank you so much for your time. I appreciate it!

I agree with the steps 3.1 and 3.2… my image is not the same and i did follow the steps properly.I think one thing that might be an issue is that when you’re doing the bevel and emboss you are covering up the shadow and highlight areas with showing the emboss of the “Ring – Double”.

Also I put the font to the exact same, have my document size at 800x800px and Arial, Bold, 200pt will not fit on the document.

Can you shed some light on this please. I’d love to be able to do this!
