Few were really good! However, I think, one who chose a designer to do his business card design should have experience on what design should keep & what to not. As a result, the one who hire’s a designer gets nothing in a price of getting everything.
Personally, as a graphic & logo designer I’ve been into such situation when a client have demanded for extremely keen design but not sure with, this, in a result makes both designer & the person who’d hire him get confused.
So in both cases, knowledge of what a seeker wants & what a designer should design is needed. I hope I’m clear with my comment here, what do you think, author?

Business Cards are the best way to give the first positive effect in any kind of meeting. When you hand in your cool business card to the new people you met, they are starting to get to know you. Otherwise I mean when you do not have a business card at that moment or when your card is so simple, it is giving the opposite effect of course. Therefore I care about it more than everything, I liked a lot especially your creature of Item 47. Thanks for giving me an idea.
