    Some of these are fantastic! I really wanted to incorporate a vectorized penguin into one of my designs but I just can’t get the look and feel of it right. Hopefully these help out.

    Wow, you made quite a big collection :) As you mentioned, pen and paper are the first step, but even before that, you should have some drawing skills :) It’s crazy how character design became mainstream… only some of the characters above have a heart and soul, the rest are just icons…
