Every website requires hosting in order to be live on the Internet. Designers and bloggers are well aware of its importance; they use it to establish their brand and business. The fact that Bluehost and Hostgator are in this post make me seriously doubt the whole thing.

Those hosting providers are very different and have different plans. So suggesting “to have a close look at each plan” is kind of stating the obvious and leaves reader with little more than list of suggested hosting providers. I’d like to have more of authors own conclusions, suggestions, experience. What would you suggest for starting bloggers and what to bit more experienced, and ones with more than one blog? Well, experienced bloggers anyway will have to find what’s best for them by “try & fail” method while they they’ll find what fits them best.
I use SiteGround for my sites and am satisfied. I used ipower.com (thay have WordPress plan now, too), but it was bit too slow for me. Tried also A2 hosting, but something didn’t work out for me although initial experience was good.

Actually Hostgator and Bluehost are part of the same company which is Endurance International Group, Inc.

For small blogs, both are actually okay. Of course when high traffic kicks in you have to migrate to vps or dedicated servers.

A review is a critical evaluation–good points and bad points. What you have here is simply a listing, with language that comes straight from each company’s copywriters. In terms of my own experience, I am leaving Bluehost, tired of their warnings that my sites have been hacked but that for a fee they can make it all better.

We currently host our website with Hosting24. It has been around a year and so. Price is affordable so this is the reason we choosed them anyway. Is okay if you are a beginner and just starting out your business but the moment you start to get high amount of traffic you need to find a reliable web hosting, and this is exactly what we are looking for. We are thinking to give a try to Media temple. What is better get a VPS or Dedicated?

    Thanks for the review.

Nobody who knows uses godaddy or any EIG properties.
    Shared hosting is bogus anyway.

If you don’t at least use VPS and build your own stack you are a sucker.
